GATE 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will close the registration window without a late fee for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 today. Interested candidates can visit the official website i.e. gate2025.iitr.ac.in. to fill out the GATE 2025 application form. 

The GATE 2025 exam will be conducted on 1, 2, 15, and 16 February 2025 in two shifts i.e. from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm while the second shift exam will be commenced from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. 

The exam will be held in computer-based test (CBT) mode, covering 30 test papers. Candidates are allowed to appear for a maximum of two test papers from the available two-paper combinations.

The application process for GATE 2025 with a late fee will be commenced till 7 October 2024. The last date to change category, paper, examination city, add a new test paper, or update personal details with an additional fee for each change is 6 November 2024. 

The candidates who want to participate in this exam will have to pay application fees according to the category they belong i.e.  Rs 900 if they are female, belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or are Persons with Disabilities (PwD). All other applicants, including foreign nationals, will have to pay Rs 1,800.

The admit card for the same is expected to be released on 2 January 2024. The GATE 2025 results are scheduled to be released on 19 March 2025.
