CUET-UG Admission 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results for the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduates (CUET UG) 2024 on 28 July, 2024. Students have been eagerly awaiting the results of this entrance exam, which is essential for admission to undergraduate courses in various pretigious universities and colleges across India.

After the announcement of the CUET UG Result 2024, all universities will now release their admission cut-off or merit lists 2024. Additionally, participating universities will also invite applications from candidates for admission to undergraduate courses.
Candidates will need to apply by visiting the official websites of their preferred colleges/universities. Subsequently, cut-off and merit lists will be released for shortlisted candidates. Finally, selected candidates will undergo document verification and must submit their fees.

Many students believe that taking the CUET guarantees their admission to college, but it's important to note that this is merely your score. To secure admission, you will need to apply separately to the universities, meaning you must go through the counseling process. Additionally, it should be noted that there is no centralized counseling process for CUET UG; therefore, you will have to apply individually to the university where you wish to gain admission.

Furthermore, according to UGC Chairman M. Jagadesh Kumar, this year's CUET scores will not be normalized, as he mentioned in a post on his X account.

CUET UG Admission: What is normalization?
  • Normalization is used to make scores comparable across different examination sessions.
  • It has been a contentious topic among students, who believe it unfairly affects their performance.
  • In previous years, the need for normalization arose due to multiple days of examinations being conducted to accommodate students' preferences for exam centers.
