The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national-level entrance exam for admissions to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes offered by 22 National Law Universities around the country.
CLAT 2023 exam will be conducted on December 18, 2022.
CLAT 2023: Eligibility Criteria
Under Graduate Programme
The candidates must have passed class 10+2 or any other equivalent exam with a minimum of 45 percent. The candidates appearing for the qualification examination in March/April 2023 are also eligible to apply. A relaxation of 5 percent will be given to candidates from the reserved category.
Post Graduate Programme
The candidate must have a LLB degree or any other equivalent degree from a recognized university or college with a minimum of 45 percent. The candidates appearing for the qualification examination in March/April 2023are also eligible to apply. A relaxation of 5 percent will be given to candidates from the reserved category.
CLAT 2023: Application Fee
- SC/ST/BPL: INR 3500
- All Other Candidates: INR 4000
CLAT 2023: Counselling Fee
The counselling fee for CLAT 2022 general category candidates is INR 30,000 and the counselling fee for ST/SC/OBC/BC/EWS/PWD category candidates is INR 20,000.

Step 2: On the homepage, Click on the CLAT 2023 tab and click on the Registration link.
Step 3: Upon clicking on the link you will redirect to a new webpage, Enter the required credentials on this page.
Step 4: Complete the registration process. Verify if all the detail provided are correct and make the payment of the applicable fees
Step 5: Download the completed form Pdf and get a printout of it for future reference.
