GATE 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee, has extended the Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering 2025 (GATE 2025) online application registration window, without late fee today, 27 September. Eligible candidates can now apply and submit their application forms till 3 October, by visiting the official website at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
Candidates must also note that the deadline to submit the application forms with a late fee applicable is on 7 October, 2024.
Additionally, candidates who are actively studying in 3rd or higher years of any undergraduate degree program or who has already completed any degree program in of the fields Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, Humanities, from a government approved is eligible for appearing in the GATE 2024 exam.
GATE 2025: Examination details
- Candidates must also note that the GATE 2025 examination is scheduled to be held on February 1, 2, 15 and 16, 2025.
- Whereas, the result is set to be announced on March 19, 2025.
- Additionally, the exam centres include- IISc Bengaluru and seven IITs comprising IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, and IIT Roorkee, on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB), Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.
GATE 2025 Registration: Application fee
- Female/SC/ST/PwD candidates (per test paper): Rs. 900
- All other candidates including foreign nationals (per test paper): Rs. 1800
GATE 2025 Registration: How to apply?
- Firstly visit the official website at gate2024.iisc.ac.in
- Then click on the, apply online tab, displayed on the homepage.
- Now register and proceed futher with the application process.
- Fill the complete application form, pay the fee and submit.
- Download and take a printout for future reference.
