For 21 days the entire nation has been lockdown to prevent the coronavirus epidemic. Due to this many educational institutes including the educational board is announcing rescheduling or postponing the dates of the exams.

Similarly, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has extended the last date for PG and PhD admission. The candidate can now apply for admission April 20 (4 pm).

Due to the 21-day lockdown in India, IIT Delhi has extended the last date for admission in PG and PhD programmes.

Eligible candidates can apply for admission to PG and PhD by visiting the official website of IIT Delhi: iitd.ac.in.

Application process: submission of application is only online. Candidates are not required to send hard copy of the application form and fee receipt. Online submission of the application form may be made by accessing the institute website ecampus.iitd.ac.in/PGADM. Candidates belonging to General/ OBC/ EWS category are required to pay for each application form fees of Rs200 and the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/PwD categories are required to pay Rs50/-. The bank charges will be borne by the candidate. There will be a separate application portal and application fee for MSc. (economics), as per details given in the information Brochure.

Financial assistance or scholarships available for full-time PhD/MTech/MDes/MS(R)/MSc students as per details given in the information brochure. SC/ST/PwD students admitted to PG/ PhD programmes are exempted from payment of tuition fee.
