According to a PTI report, in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh, two government primary schools were found locked and 27 teachers absent from duty during a surprise inspection by the BSA, an official said today.


One school in Baghra village and another in Titawk village were found locked during the check conducted on Thrusday, said Basic Shiksha Adhikari, Satender Kumar.


Departmental action has been taken against the 27 teachers and their one-day salary will be deducted, said the officer.


The step was taken following complaints from the parents of students.
