Rajiv Gandhi University here has introduced online admission system from the 2016-2017 academic session.
 
Through the system, applicants could be able to apply to various courses of their choices online, Deputy Registrar David Pertin said in a statement here on Monday.

He said that the new system was much awaited towards making admission possible at the click of the mouse from across the country easing the way for prospective candidates to apply without any hurdle, reported PTI.

Since the online mode of admission system has been introduced for the first time by the university, both the offline as well as online modes of applying for admission would be in place, he said.

Presently, the online mode of admission has been introduced for UG, PG, diploma and certificate courses.

Applicants willing to apply through this mode could visit www. rgu.ac.in and would have to register themselves online first.

Then one could apply for their choice of course(s).

 There would be option to pay online as well as through offline mode including DD or Challan after filling up the online applications.

 After applying one can keep track of the status of their applications by logging into their registered accounts.
