Issuing a statement on its official website it said that "All the applicants are advised to read the Prospectus of the B.Ed Entrance Test- 2014 carefully before filling up the Form which is available on and www.hpuniv.nic.in."
The candidates are also strongly advised to ensure that he/she is eligible in terms of the conditions/provisions mentioned in the Prospectus. The copy of the Prospectus may also be downloaded from the said website for ready reference.
Eligibility Criteria :
The candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree (Medical/Non Medical//Commerce/Arts) and/or in the Master’s Degree or any other qualification equivalent thereto (any candidate with 49.99 % or less Marks would not be eligible) and 45% marks in case of SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped categories (any candidate with 44.99% or less Marks would not be eligible) from a recognized University established by law in India are eligible for admission to the programme.
Seat Availability :
85% seats are reserved for Bonafide/Domicile candidates of Himachal Pradesh and 15% to the candidates of other States. One supernumerary seat for Single Girl Child is
reserved in the Department. of Education H.P. University, Shimla.
