The Supreme Court on Thursday extended till October 21 the date for online counselling for admission in technical courses in to fill up the vacant seats.
A bench headed by Justice Dipak Misra said the students after being allotted to a particular college shall be put in a separate section to attend extra-working classes and those who have already taken admission in colleges shall not be permitted to participate in the supplementary counselling.
The court pulled up the AICTE and the university for not complying with the time schedule originally fixed by it earlier and said that the time line shall remain in force which must be religiously followed in the subsequent years.
