Delhi University's Dayal Singh college has cancelled the admissions of four students after it came across fake documents submitted by them while registering for their respective courses.
"We have cancelled admissions of four freshers. While two of them were enrolled in History (Hons), one was in Physical Sciences and one in BA programme," Dayal Singh (Morning) college principal I S Bakshi said.
"Three of the admissions were cancelled as the class XII certificates submitted by them were issued by fake authorities. The admission of the fourth student has been cancelled for furnishing a fake OBC category certificate," he added.
The college has also informed police as well as the varsity authorities about the action taken.

Delhi Police had also busted a fake admission racket in July this year which allegedly facilitated around 25 fake admissions in top colleges of Delhi University using forged documents and and four persons including a student of Aurobindo college were arrested.
