CSAB Counselling 2024 Supernumerary Round Registration update: The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) is all set to start the registration and choice-filling process for the CSAB 2024 supernumerary round today, August 16.
Candidates can will be able to register for the CSAB 2024 supernumerary round through the official website (csab.nic.in). It should be mentioned that the last date to complete the registration and choice-filling for the CSAB 2024 supernumerary round is August 19. According to the schedule, the board will announce the seat allotment result for the CSAB 2024 supernumerary round on August 20, 2024.
CSAB Counselling 2024 Supernumerary Round Registration: Here is what official notification says
"All the eligible candidates are required to register online through CSAB portal at https://csab.nic.in as per the schedule. Earlier registration at JoSAA/CSAB Special Round, if any, is NOT valid for CSAB 2024 Supernumerary Round. Eligible candidates should log-in using JEE (Main) 2024 Application Number and Password of JEE (Main) 2024 or Password updated during JEE Advanced or JoSAA2024 or CSAB-Special Round (whichever is the latest)," read the official notification.
It further pointed out that candidates other than those whose documents have been verified at NIT+ System during JoSAA/CSAB Special Rounds, can update their State of Eligibility (XII Passing Place), and Gender during online registration in the following ways:
Note that Only Indian Nationals are eligible for CSAB-Supernumerary Round.
Updating Gender from any to any is permitted.
Updating State of Eligibility (The place of first appearance of Class XII or
equivalent): Any to any change is allowed.
Online Choice Filling and Locking
All successfully registered candidates must fill in fresh choices of academic programmes.
The previously filled choices during JoSAA/CSAB Special rounds (if any) stands NULL and VOID. The fresh choices are required to be FILLED CAREFULLY and should be saved frequently during the registration schedule.
Candidates are advised to LOCK their choices after finalizing the choice list otherwise it will be Auto-Locked after choice locking schedule and same will be considered for seat allocation.
Only after locking of choices, either by candidate or system locked, candidate can take print copy of locked choices.
