As soon as the ‘Shiksha Setu' mobile app for higher education department starts, complete records and activities related to students and teachers is now online. Now, in the state government colleges, details of the lecturer and directorate officers will be available online in addition to the attendance, fees, online admission, and scholarship of students.
Higher Education Department Director -- A Srinivas told that the introduction of the ‘Shiksha Setu' mobile app will bring transparency in the department and college administration, while contact between students, parents, teachers and administration will be better. Now students’ attendance will also be found online, in which updates are possible only within 15 days. Through the app, the students and teachers will get the necessary notice of the department, circular and other programmes immediately.
From this beginning of the department where students can fill the fees online, one click will be done by the college administration to know which student's fees are outstanding and so far the total fees have been collected. Srinivas told that during the admission the app will notify the students about the total number of seats available in the desired course.
Earlier, the students who were deprived of receiving scholarships due to lack of information, ‘Shiksha Setu' would be able to get the details of all scholarships given by the department or college through the mobile app and the conditions of qualification can be found at home. Information about the assignment and notifications will be available immediately. He has directed the principals of all government colleges to inspire their college teachers and students to download and use this mobile app.
