Class 10th pass students may get entry in IIT
In a good news for those students studying in Class X have chance to get admission in one of the most prestigious institute Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).

The students after the completion of class 10th exam have one more chance to get an entry in IITs.

The students pursuing Polytechnic Diploma after passing class X can get admission in IIT through JEE - Main Exam. CBSE has uploaded the latest information regarding this on its website. Students can apply online for Joint Entrance Examination (Main) - 2015 till December 18.

Polytechnic Diploma holder and last year students of polytechnic may also apply for the same. The students will have to pass out JEE- Main Exam and will have to make a place in 1.5 lakh students. After qualifying JEE Main the students will have to qualify JEE Adcanced exam.

The eligible students qualifying for the same should have 75% marks in Polytechnic or should possess 20 percentile in Board Exams.

The ranking for Diploma holder students will not be issued by CBSE. They will not be able to get admission in NIIT and other Technical Institutes. The Board will also help students to prepare for JEE Main Exam. The facility of mock test is available on the official website of CBSE JEE Main.

The students preparing for JEE Main may also get the previous year question which has been uploaded on the website. Candidates of online and offline mode may avail these questions.
