WBBSE Board Evaluation Criteria 2021 - PC : My Result Plus
West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has announced the evaluation criteria for Madhyamik and Uchhamadhyamik examinations today, June 18. This year, the WB Board Class 10th & 12th Exams 2021 were postponed due to pandemic havoc caused by the second wave of COVID-19. 

The State Government constituted a committee to prepare a reasonable evaluation criteria for class 10 and 12 students. As per the latest media reports, WB Board Class 10 results will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in class 9 and class 10 internal exams. While preparing the WB Board Class 12 results, the schools will consider marks obtained by the students in class 10, 11 and internal exams of class 12.

WB Board Class 10, 12 Evaluation Criteria 2021
  • The WB Board Class 10th Result 2021 will be evaluated on the basis of 50:50 formula.
  • The class 10 marks will be evaluated considering the 50% of marks obtained in Class 9 and 50% in the class 10 internal assessment.
  • For the WB Board Class 12th Result 2021, the Board will adopt 40:60 ratio for marking.
  • While evaluating the marks of a student, the 40% marks will be consider from class 10th mark sheet (best of four subjects). 60% marks will be consider from Class 11th annual exams including practical /project of class 12th.
Priro to this, the CM stated in a tweet that the children's future is our greatest priority. An expert committee to decide over holding the Class 10th & 12th board exams in 2021 was formed. Also the state government invited views & opinion from parents, general public, sector experts, civil society & students. The opinions and feedback was invited through mail by June 7th, 2021, 2 PM.
