UPSC CDS exam 2017 results declared
New Delhi

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared Combined Defence Service Exam (I), 2017 results on its official website.
While the exam was conducted by UPSC on February 5, 2017, shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the interview.
Simple steps to check results:
Log on to www.upsc.gov.in.
Click on Whats New option.
Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2017 option will pop up.
PDF Version of the successful candidates appears.
About UPSC:
Under Article 320 of the Constitution of India, the UPSC, is the inter-alia, required to be consulted on all matters relating to recruitment to civil services and posts. The functions of the Commission under Article 320 of the Constitution are:
Conduct examinations for appointment to the services of the Union.
Direct recruitment by selection through interviews.
Appointment of officers on promotion/ deputation/ absorption.
Framing and amendment of Recruitment Rules for various services and posts under the Government.
Disciplinary cases relating to different Civil Services.
Advising the Government on any matter referred to the Commission by the President of India.
