UP Board Class X/ XII Exam 2017 Results Likely To Be Declared In June: Reports
New Delhi

Uttar Pradesh Board is likely to declare class X/ XII exam 2017 results in June, according to reports.

Nearly 1.37 lakh teachers were assigned to check about 4.6 crore answer sheets, as per a report of the Hindustan Times. The evaluation is expected to complete in the second week of May.

While the Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad exams were scheduled on February 17 but got postponed to March 16,  the results are also expected to be delayed this year.

In 2017, more than 60 lakh students wrote the exam and about 34,04,571 candidates had registered for Class 10 exams, and 26,24,681 candidates had registered for Class 12 exams.

The Uttar Pradesh Board launched Whatsapp Number (9454457241) for  registering complaints to prevent students using unfair means during exam.

While the class X English exam was cancelled,  the question paper was reportedly circulated via Whatsaap.

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed police officials to book private teachers who force students to take tuitions. The CM conducted also conduced a meeting with state education department officials to find out solutions to stop mass cheating during board exam.
