The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has declared the result of Chartered Accountants Final Examination & Common Proficiency Test (CPT).
The exams were held in May /June, 2017.
Since December 1949, the Chartered Accountancy Examination is held twice in a year in the months of May/June and November/December.
There are total 372 Centers. In India there are 368 Centers and four Centers are in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Muscat and Kathmandu.
Raj Paresh Sheth is the All India Topper First rank from Dombivali. The marks scored were 630 out of 800 with the aggregate of 78.75%.
Whereas, All India Second rank has been scored by Agathiswaran S from Vellore. He has scored 602 out of 800 with the aggregate of 75.25%.
The all India third rank has been scored by Krishna Pawan Gupta from Mumbai, the total marks scored are 601 out of 800. The aggregate is 75.13%
10276 candidates qualified as Charted Accountants.
There were 88916 candidates appeared for the CPT, out of which 49950 were male and 38966 were female.
16067 females passed the test with 41.23% is the pass percentage. Whereas, 19961 Males cleared the test and 39.96% is the pass percentage.
