ISC's NCR topper aspires to be an IAS officer
Rupal Goel, who topped the class 12 ISC exam in the national capital region, aspires to be an IAS officer to bring about changes in the country's administration.

Giving credit of her success to her parents Anil Goel and mother Chanchal Goel, she said she was equally supported helped by her elder sister Ashi in English.

"I have planned to become an IAS officer and serve the country and bring about changes in the administration," she told PTI.

Right now though she is focussing on her undergraduate studies, and is planning to do Economics (Hons) from Sri Ram College of Commerce and then prepare for IAS.

Rupal, student of Holy Child School in Ghaziabad socred 99 percent marks in Class XII Examination (ISC) conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE), results of which were announced on Monday.

She scored 100 marks in Maths, 99 in Commerce, 99 in Economics, 97 in Accounts and 98 in English.

"I have been expecting about 95-96 percent marks but 99 percent marks were nowhere in my guess of the result," she said.

Talking about her teachers, she said "they had great deal of faith and confidence in me that I will score excellent marks in the examination."
