CBSE declares class XII exam results
The Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday has announced its Class 12 results for all regions.

The students who wrote their paper can check their results by submitting their Roll Number in the provided box.

According to a statement  issued by Board, CBSE Class XII result has registered a decline of 0.70% pass percentage than previous year. Last year 82.70% students had passed Class 12 exam.

M Gayatri a student from New Greenfield School Saket (New Delhi) has topped Class 12 exam who scored 496 out of 500.

The students appeared in exams can check their results on our website as it has been published.

Besides, students would also be able to check their marks obtained through SMS (text message) services of certain mobile phone operators.

Officials said the results of class X would also be announced in a couple of days.

Last year, a total of 10,28,928 candidates had registered for class XII examination and the pass percentage across the country stood at 82.66 per cent.

The board, in its statement, added that post-result counselling would begin from tomorrow itself and continue till June 8, for which it has provided a toll-free number -- 1800118004.

A Board official talking over phone said that the Board has already completed the evaluating process of  answer sheets. "A total of 10,40,368 students wrote their paper for Class 12 exams," a statement issued.

Last year the results for same was announced on May 28. Girls had outshone boys in the CBSE Class 12 examinations last year. Girls had recorded a pass percentage of 88.52 per cent, while boys had a pass per centage of 78.27 per cent.

The highest pass per centage, 94.26 per cent, was from Thiruvananthapuram.

CBSE is the national board of education for public and private schools and conducts final examinations for Class 10 and 12.
