CBSE Class XII Results 2017 Likely To Be Released On May 24: Reports

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to declare the results for the Class XII board examinations on May 24, according to reports.  However, there is no official confirmation yet.

While 10,98,891 students registered for the Class XII board examinations this year, the exams were conducted from March 9 to April 29.

Last year, the CBSE class XII pass percentage of girls was 88.58%. And pass percentage of boys was 78.85%. In 2016, Montfort School student Sukriti Gupta from Delhi topped (nationally) the CBSE class XII board exam. She scored  497 out of 500 marks.

The main highlights of CBSE Class XII result 2016 as follows:
92% students cleared the exam (83.05% in 2015).
88.58% girls passed; 78.85% boys cleared the exam.
Thiruvananthapuram had the highest pass percentage of 97.61%. Chennai stood second with 92.63%.
All-India topper in all categories, Sukriti Gupta of Montfort School in Ashok Vihar, scored 99.4%.
Chennai student Ajish Shekhar stood at third place.
Among differently abled students, Mudita Jagota of DAV Public School in Faridabad score 485 or 97% marks, while Siddhartha Bistar of Kendriya Vidyalaya RK Puram wassecond with 484 marks.

However, the board has made all the arrangements to check the results via internet and SMS. In a rush to check the marks, students often land up in clicking spam links or log into spam websites. This should be avoided. Due to heavy traffic, there may be some technical glitches in the web server minutes after the declaration of result. Alternatively, students can check their results on our website.

Step 3: Click on Submit option.

Step 4: Wait for a few seconds and the result will pop up on the computer screen.
