APSC Declared Civil Services Combined Competitive Prelims Exam 2017 Results
Results
The results of the combined competitive or Assam Civil Services (preliminary) examination has been declared by the Assam Public Service Commission. The exams were conducted in July 2, 2017.

Qualified list of candidates has been declared by APSC and they can appear in the combined competitive (Main) Examination, 2016.
The result can be downloaded from the website which is www.apsc.nic.in

During the last week of January 2018 or the first week of February 2018 the APSC combined competitive (Main) exam will be held.

According to the website:
The Assam Public Service Commission came into existence on April 1, 1937 in accordance with the provision of the govt. of India Act, 1935 with James Hezelett, a retired ICS officer from London, as its first Chairman.

The Public Service Commission is a body created by the Constitution of India.

The provisions relating to Public Service Commission have been laid down in Chapter-II of Part-XIV of the Constitution.

The provisions in the Constitution ensure the competence of the Commission to deal with matter relating to the State Service and enable them to discharge their duties in a fair and impartial manner free from influence from any quarter.
