Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is to conclude the registrations for the Geo Scientist Exam, 2022 today, October 12, 2021, till 06.00 PM. The Commission is conducting the recruitment examination for a total of 192 Posts. The interested candidates can apply online through the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in. UPSC Geo-Scientist Exam 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: 
For Geologist Group ‘A’ -
 Master’s degree in Geological Science or Geology or Applied Geology or Geo- Exploration etc.

For Geophysicist Group ‘A’ and Scientist ‘B’ (Geophysics) Group ‘A’ - M.Sc. in Physics or Applied Physics or M.Sc. (Geophysics) or Integrated M.Sc. (Exploration
Geophysics) etc.

For Chemist Group ‘A’ and Scientist ‘B’ (Chemical) - M. Sc. in Chemistry or Applied Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry from a recognised University.

For Scientist ‘B’ (Hydrogeology) Group ‘A’ - Master’s degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Marine Geology or Hydrogeology from a recognised University.

Age Limit (as on 1st January 2022): 
a) For Geologist, Geophysicist and Chemist (Group 'A') - A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years.
b) For Scientist ‘B’(Hydrogeology) Group ‘A’, Scientist ‘B’(Chemical) Group ‘A’ and Scientist ‘B’(Geophysics) Group ‘A’ - A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained at the age of 32 years.
 
UPSC Geo-Scientist Exam 2022 Application Fee 
Pay Examination fee through Debit/credit card or Net Banking or challan in any branch of SBI.
For GEN/OBC: 200/-       
For Female/SC/ST/PH candidates: No fee
