WB Police Excise Constable: The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) has announced the interview dates for the post of Excise Constable in the Subordinate excise service under the Finance Department. As per the released schedule, the interview round will be conducted from May 12 onwards. In addition to this, the admit cards for the interview round will be made available on the official websites of West Bengal Police Recruitment Board at prb.wb.gov.in, wbpolice.gov.in and excise.gov.in from May 5.
Candidates slated to appear in the interview round for the post of Excise Constable mandatorily need to carry the hard copy of their respective admit cards to the centre allotted to them. To access the hall tickets, candidates will require their valid login credentials such as Application number and date of birth.
The official notification released on the official website of WBPRB for the announcement of interview round dates reads "The interview round for filling posts of Excise Constable in the Subordinate excise service under Finance Department, Government of West Bengal, will begin from May 12 under four special range recruitment boards. E-call letters for the interview round will be issued in the online mode by the board on prb.wb.gov.in."
The notification further read, 'Candidature of the candidates will be cancelled, in case they are found canvassing during the course of the recruitment process'.
About WB Police Excise Constable Exam:
The recruitment exam to fill 3000 vacant posts of Excise Constable was conducted by the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board on January 2, 2019. The exam comprised 90 questions and the duration of the paper was 1 hour and 30 minutes. 0.25 marks were deducted for wrong answers.
