UPSC to hold Combined Medical Services exam online
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will first time hold Combined Medical Services (CMS) examination online.

The Doctors appearing for CMS exam for getting job as medical officers in Indian Railways and different civic bodies in Delhi will take this online exam for first time.

Acoording to a statement issued on Commission's website "This paperless test of objective type questions will be held at over 40 cntres across the country on June 22." The aspirants under the online format of the exam will be allowed to change the answers at any time during the test, it added.

Earlier, UPSC used to conduct the written CMS examination for two objective-type papers through OMR (optical mark recognition) sheets where candidates had to darken their choice of answer from multiple choice (objective) paper.

The commission has brought this change to make exam smoother. In order to help the aspirants taking computer-based online test, UPSC will come out with a 'demo' module on its website soon.
