UPSC NDA/NA Exam 2021 - PC : My Result Plus
The application process for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2021 is to commence this week. As per the official notification released earlier by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), the registrations for NDA/ NA Exam (II) will be commenced by June 09, 2021.

The application form will be issued on the official website of the UPSC at upsc.gov.in. The Commission also announced the to conduct the  UPSC NDA and NA Examination (II) on on September 5 at various test centres across the country, this year. Candidates enrolled in the 12th grade under the 10+2 school education pattern or an equivalent examination may also apply for this examination.

UPSC NDA/ NA Exam (II) 2021 Application Fee

Candidates must pay an application fee of Rs 100 (Rupees one hundred only) unless they are SC/ST candidates or sons of JCOs/NCOs/ORs listed in Note 2 below, who are exempt from paying the fee.

UPSC NDA/ NA Exam (II) 2021 Eligibility Criteria
  • Candidates must have passed a Class 12 exam from a 10+2 school education pattern or an equivalent examination administered by a State Education Board or a University.
  • For the Air Force and Naval Wings of the National Defence Academy, as well as the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy candidate should be 12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

UPSC NDA/ NA Exam (II) 2021 Registration Process:

Step 1: Candidates can apply online from the official website of UPSC at upsconline.nic.in.
Step 2: Go through the detailed information brochure and read all impotant details.
Step 3: Click on the registration link and feed in the required details.
Step 4: Cross check the application details and upload necessary documents online.
Step 5: Pay the application fee and click on the submit tab for final submission
Step 6: Take a print of the confirmation page for further reference.

The Selection Process of NDA/NA Exam includes three stages.

(I) Written Exam: The candidate will have to clear the written test conducted in Pen and Paper mode. The candidates will mention their answers in the OMR sheet using a black ballpoint pen. The total time allowed to complete the test is 2 hours and 30 minutes. One-third negative marks will be awarded for each wrong answer.

(II) SSB Interview:  After the written exam, the candidates will go through SSB Interview with maximum marks of 900 marks. The final selection will be based on the performance in both written and interview exams.

NDA-II Syllabus:
According to the Exam Pattern, the syllabus can be divided into two sections. The topics asked in each section are mentioned below:

(I) Mathematics: Trigonometry, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus and Differential equations, Analytical Geometry of two and three dimensions, Probability, Algebra, Vector Algebra, Matrices and Determinants: Types of Matrices, Determinant of a matrix, Statistics.
(II) a.) General Ability (Section I): English vocabulary, Grammar and usage, comprehension and cohesion and proficiency in English.
(II) b.) General Ability (Section II):  General Knowledge, Chemistry, Physics, General Science, History, Current Events & Geography.
