The examination schedule for Common Entrance B.Ed examination - 2015 has been issued.
B.Ed course would be of 2 Years duration from the academic session 2015-16. A common entrance exam for the same will be conducted on Apri 25.
The online application form can be filled from February 10 on wards. Only those candidates will be eligible to fill the application form who would have completed their Bachelor Degree in 2014. Under the guidelines of National Council For Teacher Education (NCTE) the B.Ed programme has got a huge change.
The B.Ed. course has been intensively revised and upgraded to make it a two-year programme with at least 20 weeks of class room teaching experience, in order to produce better qualified teachers.
Even after one year B.Ed programme more than 70% seats remained vacant last year. This will be really a bigger challenge for colleges to fill those vacant seats this year. The entrance examination for admission to B.Ed programme for the academic session 2015-17 will be held on new pattern.

The hard copy of application form needs to be sent till March 15 while the entrance examination will be held on April 25. GEN/OBC category candidates need to pay Rs. 1000/- as application fee while for SC/ST category candidates need to pay Rs. 550.
