The exam schedule for the JEE Main 2021 January and April session is likely to release soon by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The Agency will release the exam notification on its official website i.e. nta.ac.in as well as JEE Main official site jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The application process for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021 will be held for admission to undergraduate engineering and architecture colleges across the country. The candidates who wish to appear for the JEE Mains 2020 January exam can apply through the official website;

JEE Main 2021 Exam: Eligibility Criteria 

The minimum academic qualification for appearing in JEE (Advanced) -2020 is that the candidate must have passed in final examination of Class 12thor equivalent qualifying examination with at least 75% aggregate marks (65% for SC, ST, and PwD) or being in the top 20 percentile of the successful candidates in their respective Board examinations.

JEE Main 2020: Mode of Examination

JEE (Main)-2020 will be conducted in the following modes:
(a) B.E. /B. Tech. in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only.
(b) B. Arch: Mathematics- Part I and Aptitude Test-Part II in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only and Drawing Test –Part III in “Pen & Paper Based” (offline) mode to be attempted on drawing sheet of A4 size.
(c) B.Planning: Mathematics- Part I, Aptitude Test-Part II and Planning Based Questions Part III in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only

Choice of Medium of Question Papers
- The medium of Question Paper shall be in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
- The option of question paper language should be exercised while filling up the Application Form and it cannot be changed at a later stage.

The candidates who clear JEE Main 2021 examination will qualify for JEE Advanced. 

About JEE Main 2020
This year, a total of 9,21,261 students registered for the JEE Main 2020 January session exam. Out of which, a total of  8,69,010 students appeared for the examination. While 8.58 lakh candidates had registered for the JEE Main 2020 April session exam, out of which 6.35 lakh students took the examination amid the global corona epidemic.
