Amid the COVID-19 pandemic havoc, the Government of India has decided to postpone the NEET PG 2021 examination. The announcement has been made by the Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan through his official Twitter account. The NEET PG 2021 Computer Based Test (CBT) was scheduled to be held on April 18 and the result for the same was supposed to be declared on May 31, 2021.

National Board of Examination (NBE) has already issued the admit card for NEET PG 2021 examination on its official website. The revised dates for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2021 for Post-Graduation courses will be announced later when the situation will turn conducive. 

The official tweet rads, "In light of the surge in #COVID19 cases,GoI has decided to postpone #NEETPG2021 exam which was earlier scheduled to be held on Apr 18. Next date to be decided later Decision has been taken keeping wellbeing of our young medical students in mind."



About 1.5 lakh students demanded for the postponement of NEET PG 2021 examination due to spike in coronavirus cases across various region of the country. Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the official website of National Board of Examination (NBE) for regular updates.
