Maharashtra Board to conduct HSC, SSC re-exam from September 26
The Maharashtra state board for secondary and higher secondary education (MSBSHSE) issuing a statement said that "The HSC and SSC examinations for students giving a second attempt would start in September and end in October.

The Maharashtra Board issuing a notification on its official website said that the both the higher secondary certificate (HSC Board) and secondary school certificate (SSC Board) written examinations will commence on September 26, but end on October 18 and 11 respectively.


Talking to Times of India MSBSHSE's Kolhapur divisional secretary Sharad Gosavi told "This year, we are likely to receive around 9,000 applications for the HSC examinations and around 12,000 applications for SSC. The numbers are lesser this year compared to previous years due to better results."

The Maharashtra Board SSC passing percentage in Kolhapur division this year was 93.83(%). In the HSC examination, the passing percentage in the division was 91.54(%), better than the previous year's 84.14(%).
