JEE (Main)- 2015 exam to begin from April 04
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the exam dates for JEE (Main)- 2015. The Main examination will begin from April 04.

According to a notification issued by Board "The offline examination will be held in two shifts ; first shift will be held from 09:30 AM to 12:30 PM for B.E and B.Tech while the second shift will be held from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM for B.Arch and B.Planning."

An entrance examination will be held for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs across the country. On the other hand a computer based online examination will be held on April 10 & 11.

This exams will also be held in two shifts for B.Tech and B.Arch students.

Admission criteria to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, Other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by participating State Governments, and other Institutions shall include the performance in the class 12/equivalent qualifying Examination and in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main).

The Paper-1 (B. E./B. Tech.) of JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs.
