CBSE to conduct exams in schools offering vocational subjects
CBSE will conduct exams under "summative assessments" for classes IX and X in schools which are offering vocational subject from the coming academic session.

All CBSE-affiliated schools offering vocational subjects as 6th subject in class IX and X will receive question papers for board-based as well as school-based examination.

The schools opting for board-based examination will get the board papers and the students will have to appear for the examinations at the allotted centres.

On the other hand, schools opting for school-based examination will receive the question papers and marking scheme for academic and vocational subjects through email, said CBSE in a statement issued on Monday.
