The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) has released the Test date for the Commmon Entrance Test (CAT) 2016, test to be conducted on the December 4.
The online registration will start from August 8 and will continue till September 22, 2016.
This year the CAT examination will be conducted in two parts on the same day, at various centers across 138 cities of the country.
CAT is conducted by the IIMs every year for admissions into it's management programmes. Some other top level institutes also take CAT scores for admissions into their courses.
The registration process will be totally online, to be done at iimcat.nic.in.
Some basic details about CAT 2016:
Exam fee:
General category: Rs 1,700
For SC, ST and PWD categories: Rs 850
Eligibility criteria:
Bachelor’s degree with at least 50 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA (45 per cent for SC, ST, PWD and DA categories).
Those candidates who’s final year results have not been out yet but have completed all years/semesters and other exams and requirements of their degree course are also eligible to apply.
