Army to introduce computer-based recruitment tests in Rajasthan
The Indian Army will introduce computer-based entrance test for recruitment of personnel in Rajasthan, aiming to make the process paperless.

Recruitment in the India Army is going to be done through Computer Based Entrance Test (CBET) by 2015-16 in all recruitment centres in the state, Colonel Kamal Upreti, Director of Kota Army Recruitment office said.

An air-conditioned lab with 30 computers is being set up at the Kota Army recruitment office, he said, adding that the major equipment and software needed for this is expected to the reach the lab by April 2015.

CBET would be convenient not only for the candidates but also for the officials concerned as no paperwork will be involved, Col Uprati said.

At present, a candidate has to tick his options in an Original Mark Report (OMR) sheet in an open field or in hall, he said.
