1.37 lakh students to appear for JIPMER MBBS entrance test
A total of 1,37,435 candidates from across the country would appear for the entrance test on June 7 for admission to the first year MBBS course this year in JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research), a centrally sponsored institution.

The test for selection of students for the 150 MBBS seats would be held online simultaneously in 581 centres spread over 75 cities, JIPMER Director Dr S C Parija told reporters on Wednesday.

The result of the test would be released on June 15.

The entrance test for Post-Graduate (MD/MS) courses would be held online in 86 centres on May 31 and the result released on June 5, he said here.

He also said the Centre had sanctioned Rs 117 crores for JIPMER to meet its expenditure to raise infrastructures for the International School of Public Health affiliated to it.
