The National Institute of Ranking Framework, NIRF Ranking 2021 to be released by the Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on 9th September 2021. The event is scheduled to be conducted at 12.30 PM. The NIRF Ranking 2021 event will be a webcast that will be hosted on the official website of NIRF- nirfindia.org. 

 

The ranking will consist of a separate list of best medical schools, top colleges, best MBA institutes, top 25 universities, and top engineering colleges. The total number of institutes present in India which registered for NIRF Ranking 2020 had increased by a total of 20 percent when compared to the institutes listed in NIRF Ranking 2019. A total of 3,800 institutes took part in NIRF Rankings 2020. 

 

The NIRF authorities give scores to the institutes based on the learning, teaching, research, resource (TLR), graduation outcomes, professional practice, peer perception and outreach, and inclusivity (OI). In 2020, NIRF Rankings were released through the online medium amid the pandemic situation. The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras was awarded the top institute in India in 2020. Whereas the IISc Bangalore was the top university in India which was followed by the JNU. The students, teachers, and management across India from different institutes, universities, and medical schools can visit the NIRF official website to witness the webcast which will be hosted by the Education Minister of India.
