Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday said announced that three medical colleges will be set up in the state.
“In the construction of the three medical colleges and hospitals in Dhubri, Nagaon and Lakhimpur, we will spend Rs 570. The amount will be didvided equally among the three hospitals,” said Sarma, during a press conference in Guwahati.
The minister reiterated that the ongoing construction for the Diphu Medical College and Hospital will be over by this year.
