Tamil Nadu Postal Circle has issued recruitment notification for appointment of meritorious sports persons in the department of posts in cadre of Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant, Postman and Multi Tasking Staff.

The details of vacancies and to whom the applications are to be submitted by the candidates etc., are indicated in the Annexure – A,B & C.
About Vacant Posts :
Postal/Sorting Assistant : 49 Posts
Postman : 24 Posts
Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) : 34 Posts
Age Limit :
The willing and desirous candidates who wish to apply for the above mentioned posts should be aged between 18 to 27 Years of age.
Educational Qualification :
(i) HSC (12th) level exam with English as compulsory subject or equivalent qualification from any recognized Board Govt. of India. (ii) 10th (Matric) level OR ITI exam from recognized Institute or College. (iii) Passed SSC level exam from any recognized Board or Organization.
Scale of Pay :
(a) Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant :- Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2400+ admissible allowance
(b) Multi Tasking Staff :- Rs.5200 – 20200 + grade Pay Rs.1800+ admissible allowance
(C)Postman : Rs. 5200 -20200 + grade pay Rs.2000 + admissible allowance
(d ) Period of probation : Two years.
Application Fee:
The candidates shall have to pay Application Fees of Rs. 100/- (One Hundred only) in any of the computerised post offices in Tamilnadu Postal Circle through e – Payment specifying Direct Recruitment of PA/SA/PM/MTS under sports quota and Division/Unit for which he / she is applying and submit the original receipt along with the application.
The candidates will have to check up carefully whether the name of the candidate, name of the division/unit, serial No is clearly printed in both the copies of the receipt. Details of payment should be noted and receipt should also be pasted in the space provided for in the application.
Note: Fees once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

The candidates who satisfy the above conditions may send their application in the prescribed format as in Annexure D affixing their recent passport size photograph, duly filled in, to the authorities concerned so as to reach them on or before the last date fixed for receipt of application either by speed post or registered post .
