Sanskrit Journalism is the Evolutionary Process: New course introduced by IIMC

The Indian Institute of Mass Communication and Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtri Sanskrit (LBSRS) Vidyapeetha is going to introduce a three-month advanced course in Sanskrit journalism, announced by IIMC Director General KG Suresh on the institute’s annual day recently.

The newly set up Indian languages department at the institute will take care of the course.

The course will provide the language skills and will train students in the skills needed for journalism and it is promoted as a three-month certificate programme, said Suresh to Indian Express.

He also added that Sanskrit media is the evolutionary process and many people are interested in it, in the past fortnight he has launched Marathi and Malayalam journalism courses in IIMC’s regional centres.
