A Certificate Programme in Sanskrit Language for students who have not studied the language after class VIII or at any level has been introduced by Jamia Millia Islamia from the current academic session 2017-18.
The programme will be run by the newly established Department of Sanskrit, Faculty of Humanities and Languages.
After obtaining a Certificate in Sanskrit Language, the candidates will be eligible for admission to BA (Hons) Sanskrit degree programme.
