Jobs in FDDI - FDDI all set to help in getting 10 Lakh jobs under Make in India campaign
The Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) is all set to offer 10 Lakh jobs. The institute has already offered more than two lakh jobs to youths till date.

The organiztaion has made a plan to offer two lakh jobs per year to give a boost to Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi's "Make in India" campaign.

FDDI situated at Sector 24, Noida is training youths in eight centres that are Noida, Fursatganj, Chennai, Kolkata, Rohtak, Chhindwara, Jodhpur and Guna. These institutes will train 25 thousand youths each in all centres and will help them to get a job. FDDI has already achieved the previous target of helping 2 lakh youths to get job.

"After achieving the target of providing two lakh jobs, we have planned to offer 10 lakh jobs in next five years. These jobs would be offered via skill development in youths," Rajeev. J. Lakhra, M.D, FDDI said.

According to a data released "A total of 2,00506 youths have been trained and got the job offer in Footwear industry." FDDI said that Footwear industry in next five years will get 39% increase in export so that it will need score of youths in this field.
