Applications are invited for Asian Environmental Journalism Awards 2017 from professional journalists, reporters, and photojournalists who are citizens or permanent residents of an Asian country by Singapore Environment Council (SEC).
The objective of this programme is to recognise and reward excellence in environmental journalism at all levels of society. Eligibility: - J
ournalists must be aged between 18 to 30 years-
Citizens of any Asian Country, who write about an environmental issue taking place in Asia. The pieces submitted can focus on a specific country, or on the region in general.-
Journalists of any nationality, who have been living and working in any Asian Country for a minimum of one calendar year before the close of the application deadline on July 17, 2017. -
Applicant professional and citizen journalists,-

About Singapore Environment Council (SEC):
The council is independently managed, non-government organisation, facilitates and co-ordinates environmental causes in Singapore.
