Girls outshine boys in UP Board class X exam
The Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education has announced Class 10 result today. The results were declared at 01:00PM.

Girls outshone boys once again in UP Board Class X Examination. While 91.25% girls cleared the examinations, the pass percentage of boys was 82.87%.

According to the report released by the UP Board "Ashutosh Mishra of  Barabanki district a student from S Sai Inter college have topped the examination with 97.33 % marks. Aradhna Shukla from Maharani Laxmibai Inter College, Barabanki scored 97.00 percent marks and remained on second position. Shreay Shrivastava from SD Singh HSS Kalindipuram, Allahabad  remained on third position with 96.17 % marks".

According to the Board statement 38,4,580 students have registered for this examination. In which 33,31,904 students appeared this examination. In the UP board class 10th examination 28,86,379 have passed the examination. The total number of boys who have qualified this examination is 15,23,447 and the girls who have qualified this examination is 13,62,932.

UP board had already announced the class XII examination in which 96.7 percent students had qualified the examination.  

According to a Boar official " 86.63 percent students have passed the class x examination. The board official also stated that more than 91 percent girls have qualified the class 10th examination.

The UP Board had conducted the class 10th examination from 12 March to 3 April this year. According to a report 38,30,000 students had enrolled themselves for the examination of class X.

The anxious wait of the students is over now as the results has been announced. The UP Board had declared the Class X results of 2012 on June 8.
