The Indian Institute of Management, IIM Indore has scheduled to conduct the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2020 on November 29, 2020. The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2020 will be held in the online mode at various test centres spread across around 156 test cities. This year, the IIM Indore has revised the exam pattern for the CAT 2020 examination.
Earlier, the IIM Indore is to release the CAT 2020 Admit Card on Wednesday, October 28, 2020. The online registration for the IIM CAT 2020 was commenced from August 05 and concluded on September 23, 2020. The Common Admission Test 2020, or CAT 2020, is scheduled to be held on November 29 in two sessions.
IIM CAT 2020 - Revised Exam Pattern
The duration of the examination is 120 minutes.
There will be three sections:
Section I: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
Section II: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
Section III: Quantitative Ability
The authorities have allotted 40 minutes to each section which was previously 60 minutes. The three sections will remain the same viz. Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC); Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Quantitative Ability (QA). The paper will carry both MCQs and Non-MCQ type questions. The MCQs will have negative marking for the wrong answer while Non-MCQs do not carry any penalty of negative marking.
