The application process for a one-year residential certificate course in NSD is tp conclude today i.e. July 31, 2020, by the National School of Drama, NSD. The candidates who wish to apply for the certificate course at NSD can visit the official website and fill the application form. The authorities have invited the application in both the online and offline mode. The NSD has invited the online applications for admission to the one-year residential certificate course for the academic year 2020-21.

NSD Admission 2020: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:
1. The minimum qualification for the certificate programme is graduation or equivalent degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
It is relaxable in the case of extraordinary talented candidates from the tribal, folk and traditional performing arts families.
2. Sufficient knowledge of theatre with participation in at least 4(four) productions.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years as on 1st July 2020.
NSD Admission 2020: How to Apply
For offline applications candidates will be required to send attested copies of certificates and testimonials must be attached with the application form along with a DD of Rs.150/- in favour of NSD, Centre.
For online applications, candidates will be required to pay Rs. 50/- through Credit/Debit Card.
NSD Selection Procedure:
Selection is the two Phase process. The Candidate should appear for a preliminary examination and if selected will have to appear for a final examination Workshop.
Audition and Final Workshop: 20th, 21st and 22nd Aug 2020
Physical Fitness:
All selected students will have to undergo a medical test for physical fitness. Their final selection is subject to clearance of the fitness test.
NSD Scholarship:
The finally selected candidates for the course will be eligible for a scholarship of Rs.6, 000/- per month for the academic year.
