The Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) counselling for admission to B.Tech, MBA and B.Arch courses in affiliated colleges to the Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) will be held on 113 centres across the state.
The list of centres has been handed over on Tuesday to UPTU, said Examination Coordinator Prof. Jagbir Singh. In comparison to last year the number of counselling centres have been reduced.
135 centres had been constituted in 2014. 11 centres have been constituted to hold counselling in Lucknow only. In a meeting hold on Monday, the Central Admission Board (CAB) had decided not to offer centres to such institutes which could not perform better last year.
keeping this in mind the list of centres have been updated. Mr. Singh said that UPTU is in full swing preparation to hold a barrier free counselling.
