DU announces 4th cut-off list, seats still vacant
Delhi University on Thursday announced its fourth cut-off list for admission to its undergraduate programmes with seats still vacant in popular courses.

While Sri Ram College of Commerce, Lady Sri Ram College and Daulat Ram College have closed admissions for all courses for the general category, majority colleges have seats vacant with the latest cut-off list seeing a marginal drop in percentages required for admission.

However, at SRCC, Economics (H) is still open in the fourth list at 97.37 per cent.

According to the notice released by the college, those students who qualified in the previous list under general and PWD categories can also apply for admission.

Kirori Mal College has closed many courses in Arts except Political Science (H) at 94.25 per cent.

Commerce courses like Economics (H) and B.Com (H) are open at 96.25 per cent and 96.5 per cent with a maximum drop of 0.5 per cent.

Gargi College has released its cut-off with an average dip of 0.5 per cent in most courses. English (H), B.Com (H) and Application Psychology (H) courses are open at 93.75 per cent, 95.25 per cent and 95.5 per cent respectively.

Four colleges -- Janki Devi Memorial College, SGND Khalsa, SGTB Khalsa and Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, which had not released the third-cut off list in view of a Delhi High Court judgment granting them minority status, have featured in the fourth list.

They had written to DU authorities saying as per the directive from Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee, they need time to workout the cut-offs and admission guidelines keeping in mind legality and implications of the reservations to minority students.
